Following public and partner engagement and reviewing existing data and research, recommendations found in the Charting a Course for Growth Final Report are being implemented. These are intended to:

  • Support the development of housing supply to meet projected demand.
  • Strategically direct growth to support the development of complete communities, improve infrastructure efficiency, and support the local economy.
  • Ensure growth is well integrated into existing communities by aligning growth with local community character.
  • Identify infrastructure investments needed to support growth.
  • Retain and attract a workforce-aged population to support economic development.
