reVISION Plan Review Complete - New Documents Now In Effect

The new Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law have been approved by Council and are now in effect. The previous Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law are repealed and new projects must comply with the new documents.

Copies of the new MPS and LUB can be downloaded at: https://chester.ca/government/plans-reports-and-strategies/municipal-planning-strategy or you may purchase a copy from the Community Development Department.

With the new documents becoming effective Jan. 9 2020, the reVISION Plan Review process is now complete. The Citizen's Planning Advisory Committee, following 5 years of hard work, will disband, and Council has recently given direction to staff to begin a review of the Village of Chester Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law. This review will occur over the coming years, beginning in 2020.
